Kogan now introduces a middle child to the family, a piggy-in-the-middle in terms of size, with an 8-inch display, though remarkably, this is also the cheapest product in the range. Coming in two storage sizes, the 8-inch tablet is AU$119 for the 8GB version and AU$129 for the 16GB model.
This is a tablet we really knew nothing about but please enjoy the video for more details.

Our previous blogs have given you the specifications concerning the L II series LG phones. Anyway, please enjoy the video review for the L7 II.
LG announced their new L Series II devices a few days ago, and now we have some more details on the LG Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II smartphones. Here is a brief summary of the different specifications for each phone.
As expected from the company's Style line, there's been some design changes, alongside a power increase to dual-core processors on the bigger L7II -- the L5II arrives with a single-core 1GHz processor. Cosmetic changes include a textured backing and, well, you'll have to skip after the break to hear about the other improvements, but be reassured that they're backed up by Android 4.1 and dual-SIM iterations -- although those don't look quite as good.
A Russian firm known as Yota Devices has developed the world's first two sided mobile phone! At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week, the two-sided Android phone was revealed to the world. Known as the YotaPhone, one side is your tried and trusted smartphone while the other side is an e-Reader with an e-ink screen.
To develop this device, Yota partnered with several firms - 5 of them to be exact - to bring this perculiar cell phone to life: Qualcomm for the chipsets; Corning for the 3D Gorilla Glass (for a custom display for 4.3 inches);Hi-P out of Singapore as a OMD partner; Symphony Teleca for the expertise on creating the Android platform, improve power management and optimize and enhance the overall product software architecture and Dream Industries(BookMate) for content. As should be expected in the smartphone market, interesting times are certainly ahead! It begs the question, what will they think of next. Below are some videos to give that initial glance of what we can expect from the Yota device. Enjoy!
We're reviewing today Asus' latest 10 inch Android tablet, the affordable Memo Pad Smart, powered by pretty much the same hardware found inside the Transformer TF300 from last year. It will cost around $350 and won't feature the award winning docking keyboard found on the Transformer line. Don't worry, as you'll still be able to purchase a normal Bluetooth wireless keyboard if you feel like typing a lot, but to tell the truth, Android is not a productivity operating system, as I'm guessing you already know. Enjoy the clip and let me us know if there's anything you wish to know more about the Asus MemoPad Smart tablet.
As you'd expect, this 10.1-inch Android 4.1 tablet features the same design language as its smartphone counterpart, but it's what's inside that really sells this device: a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core APQ8064 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 10.1-inch 1,920 x 1,200 screen (with Mobile Bravia Engine 2), an 8.1-megapixel Exmor R camera, NFC, LTE (MDM9215M radio), microSD expansion and Sony's very own "S-Force" virtual surround sound technology. Amazingly, these are all packed tightly into a 6.9mm-thick, 495g-heavy body which not only takes a huge leap from the retiring Xperia Tablet S, but it also beats the Toshiba Excite 10 LE that was once the champion in both fields. Enjoy the videos!
